Cadastral Surveys

A cadastral survey can be as small as a boundary adjustment or as large as a multi lot subdivision.  It is required for any subdivision or proposed property development.

A Resource Consent is required and needs to be completed and lodged with the local Council.  Each Council has different requirements under their District Plan, but the Resource Management Act 1991 and any subsequent amendments must be complied with.

Once Resource Consent has been obtained a full survey is required which includes a field survey and the preparation and lodgement of an e-survey dataset with LINZ (Land Information New Zealand).
